On Sofa No Credit Check...
A newspaper ad may entice one to a sweet deal like, “Nothing down, no payment or interest until_____2009’. Perhaps
you can afford to buy that $500 sofa a week ago.
But is the deal that sweet? Probably not, if you have no sofa, no credit card and no cash. On the other hand, if
you are not that hard pressed, consider this.
A University of Montana law professor said that the sofa you buy now for $500 now no payment due for one year, may
actually cost only $400.
The $100 difference represents the finance charge hidden in the cost. In effect, you are paying 20 percent
interest on your purchase.
The deal might get worse, he further said. The fine print may state that if you don’t pay on time a year from
now, there will be finance charges of say $200 or $300 more. .
A word of advice of the professor runs this way, “People should shop around for sofa no credit check like the way
they shop for the best price in town.” Well said that professor.
